Places to Love: City Walk Heights

Live in the lap of Sandy Springs’ luxury in one of the premier gated townhomes of City Walk Heights.  These beautiful homes are prime real estate located in the heart of Sandy Springs near the intersection of Hammond Rd. & Roswell Rd. situated behind the Kroger shopping complex.  I recently previewed this community from a buyer’s perspective so here is my take…

As I walked along Sandy Springs Place (the road), I instantly fell in love with the quaint 16 townhomes that now line the street situated conveniently within walking distance from the Sandy Springs Historic Park & Amphitheater.  This is a great location for real estate, especially when there is a great performance on the Entertainment Lawn but not so great when those attending these events are parked everywhere, including in front of these townhomes.  There are 2-car garages so you do not have to compete for a parking spot when there are nearby events, including the Taste of Sandy Springs, but there maybe the inconvenience of heavy traffic and congestion - such is life in the city though!  Another plus is you are just a “hop, skip, and a jump” away from all the great shopping and restaurants in City Walk.

Once in one of the lovely real estate properties, I was left breathless by the extensive molding, downtown view from the balcony, the over-sized rooms (2 and 3 bedroom options available), immaculate hardwood floors, and the number of stairs I climbed (Yikes! Thankfully there is also an elevator for those days when lugging groceries, etc.).  My love grew even more when I entered the serene waterfall park.
