Restaurant Spotlight: Makara’s Mediterranean

If you are like me and enjoy Mediterranean food, you will be elated about the newest restaurant to join Roswell Rd.’s restaurant row.  Makara’s Mediterranean (404.252.6262) is centrally located at 6224 Roswell Road at the corner of Johnson Ferry Rd. in Sandy Springs. 

Makara’s Mediterraneanrestaurant features the most loved Middle Eastern dishes, including Gyros, Shish-K-Bob, Baba Ghanoush, Dolmas (grape leaves), Falafels, and Hummus to name a few.  And with prices ranging from $2 to $10 this is a great place to frequent for lunch or dinner. 

For my first visit, I ordered the Falafel Pita Wrap and my friend ordered a classic Gyro Pita Wrap with a side of Hummus.  We both hummed happily as we devoured every bite and vowed to return to try the other items on the menu.  Even beyond the great food, we were pleased with the prompt and friendly service, making this a place that we will surely return to and recommend to others.
