Sandy Springs, Your Vote Matters!
October 27, 2008 by Lee Davenport
If you are like me and have heard how there are over 800 people each day standing in line to vote before the Nov. 4th election day, then you may be curious and even a little stand-offish towards what Nov. 4th will actually hold. Will it be lines and more lines with only a few computers for the thousands that will hope to make their voice heard?
In the last presidential election, I remember being in line for almost 3 hours and it did not have as much fanfare as this. So if you want to beat the biggest crowd on election day, then take advantage of this week’s advance voting option:
October 27‐- 31, 2008
Monday -‐Friday; 8:30 a.m.‐- 7:00 p.m. daily
North Service Center
7741 Roswell Road, Auditorium
Sandy Springs, GA 30350
404‐730‐7072
For voting locations in other areas of Metro Atlanta and Georgia, please visit: http://www.sos.georgia.gov/elections/11_04_earlyvoting.pdf. Whether you participate in advanced voting or Nov. 4th, be sure to let your voice be heard - vote!
