The Sandy Springs’ Riverwood High School Baseball Team will kick off its ANNUAL CHRISTMAS TREE SALE at 9 a.m. on Friday, November 28 at Riverwood High School.

Riverwood’s Coach Mike Santoro, along with baseball parents travel to the North Carolina mountains each year to cut, bale and transport the freshly cut Fraser firs. Proceeds from the sale benefit the Riverwood High School Baseball Team.  So support our fellow Sandy Spring schools and students!!

Minutes after DHL announced Monday it was ceding the U.S. express mail market, UPS’s sales force — more than 3,000 strong — swung into action.

1-800-PICK UPS — the call center for Sandy Springs-based UPS, the largest U.S. air and ground carrier — lit up. And the “Welcome Center for DHL customers” on UPS’s Web site started popping.
