How Should Sandy Springs Spend Over $500,000? You Decide

January 24, 2009 by Lee Davenport

The City of Sandy Springs has begun preparing its 2009 Annual Action Plan under the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

Sandy Springs Citizens may present ideas to the Mayor and City Council on how the city might use its 2009 CDBG funds at a public hearing on Tuesday, February 3. The meeting will begin at 6 p.m.

The City received $540,875 in 2008 CDBG funds and anticipates receiving approximately the same amount in 2009. More information on this program can be found on the City’s website, www.sandyspringsga.org.
