Riverwood International Charter School will present Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat on March 26, 27 and 28 at 7 p.m. and March 29 at 3 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students and are available at the door. Sandy Springs United Methodist Church will hold a free-throw shooting contest and 3-point shooting contest to support Nothing But Nets, a United Nations program to fight malaria in Africa. Networking @ Noon will be held on Thursday, March 26 from 11:15-1:00 p.m. at Food 101 in Sandy Springs. The Georgia Department of Transportation, in conjunction with the Georgia Regional Transportation Authority, will host three transit planning workshops for its revive285 top end project. The third workshop will be held at the Dorothy C. Benson Senior Multipurpose Complex in Sandy Springs on Thursday, March 26. The meeting will start at 5 p.m. and end at 7 p.m.
Sandy Springs District 1 Councilman Doug MacGinnitie will hold a Town Hall Meeting on Monday, March 30 at 5:30 p.m. This meeting will focus on the Dunwoody Club and Spalding Drive intersection improvements and the City budget. The meeting will be held at Dunwoody Charter Elementary School.
Businesses in the City of Sandy Springs have until March 31, 2009 to renew their business tax certificates by submitting a business occupational tax application with full payment of all fees and taxes due.
