Starting a Business? Get Free Help!
June 16, 2009 by Lee Davenport
Are you starting a business and need legal assistance? Whether you are in Sandy Springs, Marietta, Decatur or any of the Metro Atlanta cities, you may qualify for the GMEN Pro Bono Legal Services Pilot Program.
Here are the Microenterprise Eligibility Guidelines:
The GMEN Pro Bono Legal Services Pilot Program will focus on new and existing microenterprises. A microenterprise is defined as an owner-operated business with five or fewer employees and requiring less than $50,000 in start-up capital.
GMEN is attempting to locate a limited number of initial applicants for this pilot program. GMEN cannot guarantee that each applicant will be placed with a volunteer attorney.
Applicants that require assistance in completing a business plan are encouraged to contact a GMEN member providing business development services. A listing of those resources as well as more information about the GMEN pilot program are provided on the GMEN website at www.georgiamicroenterprise.org.
