Movies by Moonlightis presented by Leadership Sandy Springs. All Movies by Moonlight are held on the terraced lawn of the Hitson Center in Sandy Springs. Festivities begin at 6 p.m. Admission and parking are free. For more information visit www.leadershipsandysprings.org.
Looking for a fun activity for the entire family before school starts next week? Head to the Atlanta Zoo this weekend and get in free! This weekend only Fulton County and City of Atlanta residents are eligible for free admission to the Zoo. Don’t forget your Georgia driver’s license, voter ID card, utility bill or City of Atlanta Government ID card which you will need to show in order to receive free admission. The Annual Youth Summer Art Weeks Exhibit will be on display at Abernathy Arts Center beginning on August 7 and running through August 21. The exhibit is free and open to the public. For more information call 404.303.6172.
On Sunday from 12:15-4 p.m. North Springs United Methodist Church will hold a Sunday BBQ and Fun Fest complete with moon walk, face painting and more. Call the church at 770.634.3053 for more information on these events.
