A Royal Affair Cafe will host a “Celebrate Life” party in the Parkside Shopping Center in Sandy Springs from 5-9 p.m. on Saturday, April 25. Friends, family and neighbors are invited to support children from the oncology department at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. The evening will feature live music by Uncle Mike’s Band and tasty bites from A Royal Affair Cafe. The cost to attend is $30 for adults and $10 for children. To purchase tickets click here. All proceeds will go to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.

The City of Sandy Springs has begun preparing its 2009 Annual Action Plan under the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
Sandy Springs Citizens may present ideas to the Mayor and City Council on how the city might use its 2009 CDBG funds at a public hearing on Tuesday, February 3. The meeting will begin at 6 p.m.
