Sandy Springs Says “Time Out” For Hate

September 4, 2008 by Lee Davenport

It’s 2008 not 1938 so why are we still having the same hatred issues?  Have you heard that in less than two weeks, two different graffiti images of a swastika were painted near the Epstein School, which is a Jewish Day school near the heavily trafficked Johnson Ferry Rd. in the heart of Sandy Springs?  The Epstein School is currently seeking expansion of its real estate acreage, which may have been the spark to ignite these property-defacing acts.  What a horrible image and reminder of the Nazi regime for parents, teachers, and children to see all in the pursuit of education and personal betterment.

Places to Love: Sandy Springs’ Ferry Heights Subdivision

Looking for some European flair in the heart of the south?  Well, then explore the gorgeous real estate in Sandy Springs’ Ferry Heights subdivision, located at the intersection of Johnson Ferry Rd. and Roswell Rd.  As a buyer, I love that the homes are in various stages of construction so I can find a fairly new home that still is customizable or I can find a well-established home that is move-in ready.  I also love that these real estate properties contain up to 6 bedrooms and 5.5 baths, and many sit on close to 1 acre of land.  Unfortunately, this is not a subdivision with a community swim or tennis facility but I digress.
