Money for Teen Drivers in Sandy Springs

Let’s make Sandy Springs a safer place for our teenagers!  To help in this endeavor, State Farm Insurance Company has awarded a $2,500 Good Neighbor Citizen grant to Leadership Sandy Springs to be used for student scholarships for the Safe Teen Driver Education affiliate in Sandy Springs.   These scholarships will be awarded to disadvantaged teens to cover the cost of the driver training classes.

Leadership Sandy Springs (www.leadershipsandysprings.org) presents the Fourth Annual Sandy Springs Movies by Moonlight, a family-oriented outdoor free movie series on a giant 45-foot screen in the heart of Sandy Springs on the terraced lawn of Sandy Springs United Methodist Church’s Hitson Activity Center (http://www.ssumc.org/ministries.html).
